I am a dad. I write children’s poetry at 6am before my daughter wakes up. I am trying to figure out how to engage with the issues we face as a planet.

As a white, hetero, cis-gender man in America, I have had the privilege of moving through much of my life without experiencing discrimination. Helping create a world that is safe, loving, and full of possibilities for all children is a vision I hold dearly in my heart, and for me, children's books have always felt like a good place to start.
